June 2021 Message

June 7, 2021

Dear Harry Sayers School Community

I would like to start off with a message of gratitude towards staff, parents, and students for their trust as Mrs. Stapleton and I led them through a challenging year of school. It is looking hopeful that the startup for school in the Fall of 2021 will be normal. For parents and students, I hope you are ready for a normal schedule with an 840- 233 school day.

At school we have been busy planning for the Fall by arranging classes, placing students into grades, and purchasing resources Like the end of most school years some staff will be leaving for family leave, retirement, and or new challenges. This is a normal part of school life.

As we go into the summer, please let your neighbors know about our great school. Our registration numbers are lower than expected especially at the kindergarten which could mean changes in staffing at school. It is important to register now rather than later.

In closing, despite having a challenging year, our students and staff have been resilient, hardworking, and kind. As we go into the Fall school year, I look forward to working with the community again as we re-start school in September.
