  1. Find a regular place for your child / children to do their homework.
  2. Find a regular time  for homework. Make the rule: "No television or games until homework is finished."
  3. During homework time, turn off the TV, radio, and other electronic device that may cause distractions.
  4. Help your child / children plan how they will use their homework time.
  5. Set a good example. While your child / children are doing homework, spend time reading or working yourself.
