November Musings
The end of the term is drawing to a close and as I look back upon the first part of the school year I can be nothing but very pleased and proud of our staff and students. Not only have we navigated the public health orders of the new school year, but our students have also settled into a routine of learning, playing, and socializing. The need for students to be together learning has never been so great. Their learning takes place everywhere as we return to field trips, buddy classes, and intraschool sports and activities. We have yet to gather inside as a whole group as in an assembly but that will hopefully come soon. My fondest memory of the year was the look on the students' faces when our STEAM Lab opened up again. The Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math lab has become once again the most popular part of the student's day. You have to love it when they say "I'm having so much fun it doesn't even feel like school."
As we move into the winter season of school we continue to be grateful for our school community and all those parents that have supported us over the last few years. Your kind words and tokens of gratitude have not been forgotten by our staff. Thank you.
